Laser-Assisted Hatching
In order to successfully implant into the mucus uterine, the embryo needs to hatch out of his zona pellucida and attached itself to the uterine wall. Some embryos have a difficulty to hatch out.
Assisted hatching attempts to help these embryos get out of the zona pellucida by creating a small hole using a precision laser.
